The Salvation Army’s Bob Poff , Director of Disaster Services in Haiti, witnessed the devastating earthquake firsthand and is desperately working to meet the overwhelming needs of the communitues. He spoke with MSNBC this morning about the disastrous state of Port-au-Prince and his firthand efforts in the ongoing aid work:

We would like the opportunity to help in Haiti if we can have transportation and the possibility of living quarters. I would assemble troops nationwside from Americans, Laos, Vietnamese.
